Hi There!
You have just earned yourself an O.D.D. feature :winner: ! congrats!
Todays' theme was "Fantastic Prints! - Support Your Fellow Deviant"!
ODDS (oibyrd's daily deviations) are to honor the sometimes overlooked artists of dA that I personally think deserve some exposure (and ALSO, to show off people who I think are undeniably talented in their own genre of art, REGARDLESS of their #'s of fav's or pageviews. I like what I like and sometimes artwork isn't featured in the regular DDs because it's popular all on it's own It's a shame, but the admins are only trying to be fair! ). Please click the link below to see your work featured and to view other featured artists . If you prefer not to be a featured artist, just send me a note and I will remove you from the list. Cheers! xoxo Sandi oxo

Nice shot. The angle you chose fits it well. Not a lot of contrast, but for some reason it works. The grey of the building grows to the white hue in the sky, makes for a good effect. Like someone else said, the door (or whatever that is) at the bottom left is a tad bit distracting, but to crop it out means to lose a lot of what makes this shot cool. Well done in all aspects.

nice tones - the clouds work great
one thing though distracts me - the door(?) in the lower-left part of the photo
but generally the pic's pretty  ;)

thanks :)... and i know what you mean, but everything can't be perfect ;)... its a lower column or whatever its called just like the ones above... i could have cut it away, but generally i try not to edit anything else than colors and contrast in photos, kinda to try to keep the photos as close to as what it looked like when i took the photo, even tho my contrast/color adjustments sometimes brings photos to an unrecognizable state...

you're right - too much digital editing is not a good way to improve pictures
but you could always come closer to the builidng :D

heh... yeah, best way to edit a shot is to retake it with modifications thats needed ;)... altho i didn't really have that option either with this shot since i took in march last year, in sweden... lol... so basically i was in one of those "use this or piss off" kinda situations cause i don't feel like taking a 4 hour flight for one photo, not to mention i'm broke... lol... thats my problem, when i'm taking photos, i'm just taking a bunch of photos... sometimes i look at very small details i might wanna change, so i take another shot, other times i take photos by just pointing the camera and not caring really whats at the edge or not, cause i didn't even look at the screen on my camera before i took the shot... altho plain aim and shot photos do generally turn out quite interesting :)... altho the photos i like to take the most is when i'm going for some really weird angle so i literally have to lay down on the ground or something, cause its just weird and fun, and the expressions on some peoples faces that happen to walk by can be quite hilarious... lol
